Overview
Leading international AM Law 50 firm recruiting a Mid-Senior Level Labor & Employment Associate to join their award-winning Labor & Employment group - hybrid role based in the firm's Newark, New Jersey office. Handling varied labor, employment, and workplace safety matters for an impressive client base.
Responsibilities- Advise clients on labor, employment, and workplace safety laws, regulations and compliance requirements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related contracts and policies.
- Advise and represent clients in litigation and administrative proceedings related to employment law matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative legal strategies for clients.
- Assist in handling matters related to employee benefits, wage and hour compliance, and labor relations.
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality legal services.
- Stay updated on changes in employment and workplace safety laws.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited US law school.
- North Carolina State Bar (in good standing) or the ability to sit/swear into the North Carolina State Bar if you hold another US State Bar.
- Strong knowledge of labor and employment law and workplace safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple legal matters effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A commitment to providing outstanding client service and legal expertise.
- Competitive annual base salary ranging from $200,000 to $250,000 USD.

Candidates must be based in Newark, New Jersey and/or be open to relocating to the area so that they can work from the firm's New Jersey office 3 days per week. Candidates must have US work authorization without requiring sponsorship.
