Licensed Practical Nurse

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, including administering medications, assisting with treatments, and monitoring patient progress.
• Perform routine patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing emotional support to patients.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, including documenting patient care activities, vital signs, and any changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and facility policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in patient care.
• Assist with the preparation and sterilization of medical equipment and supplies.
• Promote a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a high standard of hygiene.

• A current and active LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
• One year of recent experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• A commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage patient care responsibilities.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed, with or without assistance devices.
