Cook
to work at Pathways to Housing
, a shelter located in
Newark, NJ.
- The Cook is responsible for the ordering of food, planning menus, and preparation of nutritious meals within the given budget
- He or she ensures proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and cooking utensils, maintains proper food storage regarding temperature and expiration dates, and oversees the cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and food pantry.
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 to 3 years related experience
- Serv Safe Food Handler's Certificate
