About the Role

The primary purpose of the Cook position is to prepare quality food for Patient and Retail Services, in a timely, cost- effective manner.

What You’ll Do

• Provides set up and food preparation in accordance to standardized recipes.
• Obtains maximum food quality and quantity control in accordance with our guidelines and standard recipes.
• Complies with sanitation, safety, and customer service standards.
• Maintains effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• The primary purpose of the Cook position is to prepare quality food for Patient and Retail Services, in a timely, cost- effective manner.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED certificate preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience in the preparation of foods from a grill in a high-volume setting required.
• National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for Serv Safe Protection Certification is required or must obtain Serv Safe Protection Certificate within first 6 to 12 months of employment and maintain throughout employment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to read and understand recipes including culinary math.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and deadlines.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is TT1550:$ 20.36– $20.87 -$21.48 per hour, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
