Overview

Verizon Wireless Small Business Account Manager — Your Wireless, Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer. Compensation: $+ including base pay plus sales bonuses and incentives, plus amazing employee benefits and perks. Locations to support in New Jersey:
Bayonne, Cedar Grove, Edison, Florham, Lodi, Wayne, West Caldwell, Ridgewood, Hoboken.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing Salesforce, prospecting, and engaging with VZ campaigns daily.
  • Weekly, they lead call blitzes, review performance with leadership, and track sales progress.
  • Monthly, SBAMs should meet sales targets, lead 1:1 meetings with District Managers and provide region-wide updates.
  • Interact with small and medium business customers in the retail store, digitally, and through outbound prospecting; demonstrate the value of products and services by introducing end-to-end technology solutions to energize their businesses.
  • Drive small business results through the retail channel by partnering with and mentoring Consumer Retail Sales Representatives.
  • Grow customer base by acquiring and retaining accounts in the small business segment.
  • Utilize solutions-based selling techniques to solve business problems for customers.
  • Engage in outbound sales prospecting and customer visits; service the needs of the existing customer base.
  • Use sales enablement systems and tools to track, forecast, manage pipeline and book of business.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other wireless business where you managed a team of people for performance.
  • 1 year or more of outside sales experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and inspire the employees and people around you.
  • High school Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Spanish Bilingual is a plus.
  • Ability to understand, explain, and breakdown behaviors to drive key performance metrics.
  • Highly proficient with technology including cellular devices, computers, point of sale systems, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proof of achievement in prior sales roles and leadership roles is required.
  • Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology and products, and customer service.
  • Ability to travel to locations in assigned district as business needs dictate.
  • Be self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide proof of work eligibility in the US.
