- Perform security services, including electronic surveillance, and systematic manual Security Officers’ rounds in the Emergency Department.
- Coordinate facility response to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors.
- Enforce policy & procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement.
- Follow guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques toward establishing a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care.
- Work with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi‑disciplinary approach to security and safety.
- Participate in employee awareness and education.
- Drive as needed for company business.
- Minimum five years of Police Officer experience.
- Experience in Healthcare security or related field preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- State Driver’s license upon hire.
- Current DMV H6 report.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $17.00 to $23.74.
The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
