Job description:Security Guard
A large not-for-profit organization in Newark is seeking an experienced security guard. The security guard must have a SORA license with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The security guard must be attentive, proactive, and capable of working independently and exercising good judgment. Additionally, the security guard must have the ability to interact successfully with people of all levels, inside and outside the organization.
Job Description s:Protect property and lives by patrolling the area. Monitor entrance/exits of the property. Identify visitors and guard against theft and maintain security. Respond to alarms and calls of distress.
- Assist all visitors, clients, and employees
- Secure premises by patrolling property and permitting entry.
- Respond to calls for assistance, incidents, suspicious activities, safety, and fire hazards
- Control traffic by directing drivers, pedestrians, and children
- Answer alarm calls from Alarm Co.
- Work outdoors with exposure to inclement weather conditions.
