Key Responsibilities:
- Thorough knowledge of general building maintenance, especially electrical systems including AC & DC circuits, high voltage (480V), high amperage, and some 400 Hz equipment.
- Experience in industrial wiring, reading and following wiring schematics, and working independently.
- Journeyman electrical license is a plus.
- Ability to repair low and high voltage electrical equipment.
- Installation and repair of 110/220/480V single and multi-phase electrical circuitry and devices.
- Experience with related building systems such as air handling units, plumbing, steam fitting, fire systems, and conveyors.
- Willingness to work around the clock shifts, including weekends and holidays, outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Schedules are assigned based on seniority.
- Unionized position with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT); salary increases follow the current IBT/United contract; new employees must join the union within 90 days; union dues and initiation fees apply.

What’s needed to succeed:
- At least 24 months of experience in three or more of the following areas: electrical (including 480V, 3-phase), structural (steel framing), HVAC (building management systems), mechanical (conveyors), plumbing, PLC electronic/control systems.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to maintain and repair various building systems, including heavy mechanical work and welding.
- Work may be indoors, outdoors, or in elevated areas around the airport.
- Ability to climb ladders and walk for extended periods.
- Moderate lifting capacity.
- Sufficient tooling to perform required tasks.
- Computer skills for data entry and retrieval.
- Immediate availability for full-time employment.
- Valid, clean driver’s license.
