In this role, you’ll complete work orders, respond to maintenance needs quickly, and support a positive student experience through high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. • Proven experience in maintenance, building repair, or facilities work (student housing or multifamily experience preferred)
• HVAC certification or strong HVAC repair experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs independently and efficiently
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety practices
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout your shift
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with students, staff, and vendors
• Understanding of cost-effective maintenance practices and the importance of working within established budget guidelines for supplies and repairs

• Complete maintenance and repair work orders for student units and common areas
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure building systems run smoothly
• Prepare rooms/units for turnover during move-in and move-out periods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance shops and storage areas
• Support after-hours emergency maintenance on a rotating on-call schedule
• Assist the on-site team in upholding a well-maintained, safe, and student-ready community
• Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $32.00/hr based on experience
