Diesel Technician

As a diesel mechanic you will be working with our Fleet Maintenance team repairing over 200 trucks and trailers. This position requires you to be self‑motivating and possess a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Work Schedule:
  
  Mon - Fri 1pm - 9pm;
  Tue 9pm - 5am
• Sign‑on bonus: $8,000
• Rate of pay: $35 - $40 per hour

• Preventive maintenance
• Cranking and charging
• Repairing and testing air brakes
• Replacing tires and wheels
• Using service bay diagnostic tools
• Repairing liftgates and other parts of the truck and trailer using welding tools
• Using Bendix air and ABS systems
• Conducting vehicle alignment
• Attending road calls while driving a company vehicle or truck

• 2-5 years of practical experience as a diesel mechanic
• Diesel Technician Certification preferred
• Previous experience using diagnostics tools preferred
• CDL Class A or B with clean driving record preferred
