PGIM Fixed Income - Director, Data Engineer

* A key contributor of PGIM Fixed Income Data Strategy, transforming and modernizing our data environment and landscape
* Develop data models that represent the structure and relationships of data within the organization
* Implement data governance initiatives, including data catalog, data quality framework, and data lineage
* Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, ensuring that data is processed and access efficiently
* Establish and enforce data best practices through comprehensive, documented guidelines and a transparent review process
* Proficiency in various data modeling techniques (conceptual, logical, physical)
* Expertise in designing relational databases and understands data normalization and denormalizations
* Fluent in SQL Server development (DDL, Stored procedures, Views)
* Experienced in implementing data catalog and data lineage systems
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and offer alternatives both independently and within teams.
* Ability to communicate the status and challenges with the team
* Demonstrating the ability to learn new skills and work as a team
* Experience in Microsoft Purview
* Experience with data lake/data marts/data warehouse
* Working experience in a Linux based environment
* Direct experience supporting multiple business units for foundational data work
* Sound understanding of capital markets within Fixed Income and hands-on experience  modeling data domains within financial markets
* Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SAFe development methodology & Dev Ops
* Proven ability to work quickly in a dynamic environment.
* Bachelor's degree Computer Science or a related field.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The annual base salary range for this role is from **$175,000 to $195,000.
