This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Dispatcher located in Newark, NJ. The Lead Dispatcher will oversee and manage day-to-day dispatch operations, including assigning and scheduling deliveries to drivers. • Proficiency in scheduling, route planning, and logistics coordination
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with transportation management systems and basic computer applications
• Leadership skills and experience managing or coaching teams
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in logistics is a plus
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards
