Overview
— Provide safe transportation of passengers with mobility issues using a wheelchair. — Ensure attentive service, clear communication, and maintain safe operation. — Flexible schedule; average 15‑30 hours per week across evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Transport arriving and departing wheelchair passengers to terminal gates and other airport areas.
- Assist passengers with transport of luggage.
- Conduct daily inspections of wheelchairs for necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Complete required wheelchair or incident reports.
- Follow proper safety requirements when transporting and assisting passengers in and out of wheelchair.
- Provide exceptional customer service and greet passengers in a welcoming and friendly manner.
- Display required security badge and follow airport security regulations.
- Assist with luggage carts as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Friendly, compassionate, and attentive to passenger needs.
- Clear, respectful and professional communication.
- Strong teamwork and coordination abilities.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professionalism in high‑pressure situations.
- Assess and monitor passengers’ comfort and safety during transport.
- Identify potential safety issues with wheelchairs.

- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and pushing passengers weighing up to 300 lbs.
- Skilled in navigating wheelchairs over various surfaces, inclines, crowded or confined spaces.
- Ability to transfer wheelchair passengers to and from airplane seats.
- Computer and smartphone proficiency.
- Capable of standing for extended periods.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete all required training, including airport compliance.
- Obtain an airport badge.
- Lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Push/Pull 75–300 lbs.
- Walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
- Work in seasonal outdoor weather conditions.
