This position is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering English as a Second Language (ESL) support tailored to students in Engineering, STEM, and other high‑need courses. The role focuses on creating customized instructional materials, including discipline‑specific vocabulary resources, language exercises, and programming aligned with course content and learning objectives.

Collaborates closely with faculty to integrate language support into coursework, assignments, and assessments, ensuring students can effectively comprehend and produce academic and technical language.

Provides direct tutoring and learning assistance through individualized and small‑group sessions, with emphasis on academic writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills within technical and professional contexts, such as lab reports, presentations, and technical documentation.

Maintains accurate records of student engagement, learning outcomes, and program effectiveness, communicating proactively with students to promote persistence and academic success.

Coordinates with instructors to align ESL interventions with course requirements, while ongoing assessment and feedback inform continuous program improvement and institutional reporting.
