Job DetailsPosition Summary
The Hemodynamic Technician in Surgery is responsible for troubleshooting anesthesia equipment, setting up A‑lines, assisting with pre‑procedure blocks and scrubbing in to assist with procedures.
Responsibilities- Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment
- Provide proper surgery positioning of patient
- Scrub in to assist with procedures on call and on weekends
- Assist with setting up A‑lines and pre‑procedure blocks
- Assist with the induction of children
- Properly clean rooms
- Order and stock supplies
- Transport patients to and from the inpatient unit
- Effectively interact with hospital staff, offices, patients, families and guests
- Minimum requirement: high school diploma or GED
- Maintain CPR certification (HCP)
- Basic technical skills to provide equipment troubleshooting support within Anesthesia
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry an average of more than one hundred (100) pounds consistently throughout the shift
- Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes
- LMHS is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
