Machine Operator, Degreasing - 1st Shift

Location: Newark, Ohio

Reports to: Production Manager

This production floor position is responsible for the efficient operation of a degreaser by monitoring all steps to ensure that all parts come out clean and ready for Anodizing.

• Properly load parts in baskets and unload parts after degreasing process
• Weigh parts following degreasing and complete any required written records
• Set and operate scales to do accurate piece counts
• Ensure different part numbers and customer orders are not mixed on a skid
• Use of pallet jack to pull product to the degreasing lines
• Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace
• Maintain a clean work area including but, not limited to:
  • Empty Trash
  • Sweep degreasing area
  • Mop floor as needed
• Other duties as directed

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages.
• Able to differentiate between different part numbers as well as ability to read and write in English for required written records.
• Use a hand‑held calculator.
• Work independently with little supervision.
• Wear safety equipment, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, arm guards, and gloves.
