DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Nurse (RN) to give life at our Cherry Valley Dialysis in Newark, Ohio.
Cherry Valley Operational
Hours:
Mon - Sat 5:00am - 6:00pm.
- Premiere Kidney Center (Mon – Sat; MWF 5:00am‑5:00pm, TTS 5:00am‑1:00pm)
- Zanesville (MWF only: 4:30am‑4:00pm Dayshift, 3:00pm‑3:00am Nocturnal shift)

Key Responsibilities & Compensation- At least 1 full year of clinical experience as a licensed RN (post‑externships)
- Cherry Valley has 25 chairs: MWF – 2 nurses and 6 techs; TTHS – 1 nurse and 2 techs (fewer patients on TTHS)
- Shift differential for travel and paid mileage
- Compensation increases as you complete different levels of training and take on more responsibility
- We are looking for someone who works well in a team, has great leadership skills, time management, can take and give redirection, is not afraid to speak up and communicate, and is a critical thinker

- Paid training: may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic
- 30%: Supervises and performs direct patient care: vital sign monitoring, initiation/termination of dialysis, documentation, physical assessment, physician orders, lab work documentation
- 20%: Provides dialysis therapy: formulates dialysis plan per physician orders, maintains ultrafiltration rates, verifies safety measures, administers medications, documents activities
- 20%: Analyzes patient assessments and lab data; reports concerns, advises physician, documents observations, communicates emergencies to supervisor and medical director
- 15%: Assesses patient/family learning readiness and provides information on renal disease and treatment; contributes to care plan development and monthly progress notes
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school; BSN; or three‑year diploma from accredited program may substitute for a nursing degree
- At least 1 year of experience working as a nurse
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med‑Surg is helpful but not required
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is a plus
- Employment contingent upon passing a drug screen and background check
