Brown's Property Services, LLC is seeking a Lawn Maintenance Technician / Crew Lead to help deliver consistently high-quality lawn care and property maintenance for residential and commercial clients.
Position SummaryIn this full-time, onsite role in Newark, OH, you will lead and support daily lawn maintenance activities, ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism. You will work as part of a team while taking ownership of assigned duties and leading crew efforts to complete work efficiently and accurately.
As a Crew Lead, you’ll help coordinate tasks, maintain a strong work pace, and represent the company with a positive attitude and dependable communication throughout each job.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead or assist with routine lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and general landscape upkeep.
Coordinate crew workflow on-site to ensure job tasks are completed correctly, on time, and to quality expectations.
Perform basic equipment care and safe operation of company tools and machinery used for lawn and landscape maintenance.
Inspect completed work areas for cleanliness and adherence to established appearance standards.
Communicate professionally with team members and, when applicable, clients to confirm job needs and updates.
Ability to work onsite full-time in Newark, OH and perform outdoor physical work in varying weather conditions.
Experience performing lawn maintenance tasks (or comparable hands-on outdoor landscape work).
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow safety procedures while operating equipment and tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, clean results.
Willingness to take direction and step into a leadership role for day-to-day crew execution.
Prior crew lead or supervisory experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field.
Familiarity with basic landscape care practices and seasonal maintenance expectations.
Demonstrated ability to train or guide others while maintaining productivity and quality.
Experience with vehicle or route-based job assignments and day-to-day work coordination.
Hourly rate: $20 - $30 based on experience.
