• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Maintain work areas and operate construction equipment
• Communicate clearly with all team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Help with site restoration efforts
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks is preferred

• Routine tasks: work at heights, entry into attics and crawl spaces, working alone in remote locations, operating vehicle and heavy machinery; flex, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance
• Occasional tasks: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse

As a Ground Person, you will assist the assigned crew by furnishing tools, materials, and supplies; cleaning work area, machines, and tools; holding materials or tools for other workers; and performing traffic control duties as directed. The position requires familiarity with hand tools, ladders, and vehicles. Experience in telecommunications construction is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work safely with or without supervision
• Ability to work standing at shoulder height and overhead for extended periods
• Ability to lift and manipulate lashing and other cable placement equipment
• Excellent manual dexterity
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to operate equipment, including aerial lift devices, lashing, hand tools, and understand their functioning
