Dor Mar Heating & Air Conditioning is a leading provider of HVAC services in Central Ohio. We are seeking an HVAC Apprentice/Helper to join our team and assist our experienced technicians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems.

• Assist experienced technicians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems
• Learn how to diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
• Communicate with customers to explain the nature of the problem and provide recommendations for repair or replacement
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history
• Participate in training sessions and ongoing education to learn best practices in HVAC repair and maintenance

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Some experience or coursework in HVAC is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces as needed
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
