Dor Mar Heating & Air Conditioning is a leading provider of HVAC services in Newark, Ohio. We are seeking an HVAC‑R Repair Technician to join our team and help us provide high‑quality repair services to our customers.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
- Communicate with customers to explain the nature of the problem and provide recommendations for repair or replacement
- Install new HVAC equipment as needed
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing education to stay current with best practices in HVAC repair
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC repair
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including both diagnostics and repairs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces as needed
