Senior Buyer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to play a critical role in contract negotiation and supplier management within a fast‑paced, onsite manufacturing environment. This individual will be a key contributor to securing favorable terms, managing vendor relationships, and supporting procurement strategies that drive cost efficiency and operational continuity. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial judgment, confidence in negotiations, and a collaborative approach to working cross‑functionally.

This role is fully onsite in McMinnville, Oregon.

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers to meet quality and cost objectives.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to support informed procurement decisions.
• Maintain balanced inventory levels and support cost efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to align procurement with organizational needs.

• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles with a strong track record of leading contract negotiations and influencing favorable commercial outcomes.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements (FSMA, HACCP, GFSI) a plus.
