Position: Assistant/Associate Professor of Business (Business Analytics & Quantitative Methods)

George Fox University announces a tenure-track faculty position in Business Analytics and Quantitative Methods to begin in August 2026. The successful candidate will provide technical instruction in data-driven disciplines, including analytics, statistics, information systems, and personal finance.

About the job:

George Fox University seeks applicants with the ability to teach a broad range of undergraduate, MBA, and DBA quantitative courses. Candidates must possess knowledge of AI applications and demonstrate practical skills in utilizing AI tools.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching courses in analytics, statistics, personal finance, and other quantitative topics.
• Engaging with professional communities in these areas.
• Participating in the work of the department and the university, including advising and serving on university committees as needed.
• Communicating effectively and courteously with others in a spirit of teamwork, respect, and customer service.
• Serving as a Christian role model to students through both formal and informal interactions.
• Demonstrating respect for diversity of culture, background, race, sex, political views, faith expressions, and working well with a variety of people.
• Other duties as assigned.

We're looking for candidates who have:

• An earned doctorate in Business or a related field, PhD or DBA preferred. ABD candidates will be considered.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
• Expertise in analytics, statistics, and other quantitative topics.
• A commitment to the University's Theology of Racial and Ethnic Diversity.
• A desire to work with a diverse community of students and employees representing various cultures, backgrounds, abilities, ethnicities, political views, and expressions of Christian faith.

Preference will be given to those who have the following attributes:

• Qualifications to support one or more of the following subjects: information systems, data analytics, statistics, personal finance, and other quantitative topical areas.

Salary and rank:

• Appointment at the Assistant Professor level is anticipated, though candidates with significant teaching experience at previous institutions may be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor. Salary and benefits are competitive with comparable institutions.
