Position Summary:

Develop annual business plans for executing department strategies based on understanding the company's strategy and business objectives. Provide input in developing department strategies, manage KPI to reach procurement goals, and direct innovation and operation of procurement organizations.

• Implement purchasing strategy for local parts.
• Increase local spend based on cost analysis to improve product cost; reduce import spend to increase proportion of spend locally.
• Plan yearly negotiations with local suppliers.
• Develop and reach KPI goals and establish counter‑measures by reviewing and monitoring KPI performance.
• Review the team's performance and give regular feedback to team members.
• Review status of new model development and price contracts with the team.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Purchasing.
• Process knowledge, people‑management skills, negotiation skills, process innovation, supplier management, ability to develop strategy, train the team, proficiency in cost management, development process, cross‑functional teams approach, working in a global environment, contract management, and ability to prioritize work based on the situation.
