We’re looking for a dedicated MRI Technician to join our team at Newberry County Memorial Hospital (NCMH), a 90‑bed, acute‑care, not‑for‑profit community hospital. NCMH is a Joint Commission Gold Seal‑approved facility located in Newberry County, South Carolina, and recognized for its excellent leadership and award‑winning staff.
The MRI Technician will work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with the possibility of extended or additional hours as needed. Responsibilities include performing all MRI examinations, reviewing and entering orders, monitoring procedures for timely interpretation, and rotating to other areas as scheduled. Multi‑modality experience is preferred. The role is PRN, requiring flexibility to cover additional shifts or calls as needed.
Requirements- Graduate of an AMA‑accredited Radiology Technology Program.
- Met MRI competency requirements.
- Eligible for MRI registry with completion of MRI registry within one year.
- Current ARRT registry (RT.R, MRI or equivalent).
- SCQRSA license as required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Venipuncture experience required.
