Newberry Health is seeking a full-time Paramedic (12 hours) to join our exceptional team.Located in beautiful Newberry County, SC, Newberry Health is a 90-bed, acute care, independent, not-for-profit hospital recognized with the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. We are proud of our strong leadership, dedicated staff, and commitment to providing high-quality care for our patients.
Job Summary:The Paramedic provides basic and Advanced Life Support to the critically ill and injured, and transports patient(s) to a medical facility.
RequirementsEducation and Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months in emergency medical services setting preferred, with focus on continued education through in-services, seminars, in-house hospital education, and technical school with focus on improved patient care topics/Paramedic courses
- Certified Paramedic in South Carolina
- Must have current Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
