Fabrication Technician

* Job Purpose:

* ** Essential Functions & Responsibilities*
* · Operate welding equipment (TIG/MIG), cutting torches, grinders, and other stainless steel fabrication tools.
· Maintain fabrication tools and equipment in safe working conditions.
** Expected Experience & Required Skills*
* · 2+ years of experience in fabrication with sanitary welding experience preferred.
· Proficiency in TIG welding for stainless steel, including sanitary weld standards (AWS D18.1 or equivalent).
· Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various plant environments.
· Proven computer skills with intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). SAP preferred.
· Basic familiarity with Microsoft Access or similar database software is helpful.
· Experience in the Food Processing Industry, including exposure to OSHA/USDA regulations.
· Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
· High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
· Knowledge of sanitary welding standards (AWS D18.1)
