Program, setup and operate CNC machine tools in a job shop style work setting.
Role and Responsibilities- 1. Program, setup and operate CNC Milling Machine, Lathe, EDM and Wire.
- 2. Use solid model CAD/CAM software to create or modify data for CNC Programs.
- 3. Use manual machines (Mill, Lathe, Saw, Drill or Grinder) when necessary for job.
- 4. Maintain proper paperwork as required for each job. (machine log, work order and inspection sheet)
- 5. Observe 5s daily.
- 6. Reports any problem with machinery to Supervisor or Part Leader.
- 7. Perform basic daily maintenance to machines.

Education:
Minimum:
High school diploma. Prefered A.S. Degree in Machine Tool Tech or related field. - 2.
Experience:
5 years’ experience in CNC Programming of any kind machine tool. - 3. Knowledge:
Knowledge of Forklift, Overhead crane, CNC, EDM, Wire, Welding, manual mill, lathe and grinder. Mold and Die troubleshooting and repair. - 4.
Skills:
Good communication skills, Problem Solving Ability, MS Office or other Production related system skills. - 5. Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to stand; use hands to handle and reach.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- 6 . Domestic role. No direct interaction with HQ or region.
