Merchandising Sales Associate

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to perform and oversee various tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
• Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work progress, issues, and solutions.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements.
• Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
• Hang store signage and assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
• Ensure a distinctive shopping experience for customers.
• Provide peak coverage during special events (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.

Working Conditions

• Mostly indoor work with moderate noise; outdoor work involves hard surfaces and variable weather.
• Travel between store locations in personal vehicle required.
• Adherence to safety guidelines is mandatory.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel as needed, lift up to 50 pounds, and push/pull merchandise up to 2000 pounds with equipment.
• Must be able to stand, kneel, reach, and operate equipment throughout shifts.
