Order Manager (Temporary - 3 Months)

Job Type: Temporary (3 Months)
Salary: £19.23 per hour

Reed Business Support are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the telecoms and technology sector for an experienced Order Manager to join their team on a 3-month temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised administrator or coordinator with strong customer service skills who enjoys managing multiple tasks and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.

The Role

As an Order Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer orders throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience from order placement through to completion. You will work closely with suppliers, customers, partners and internal teams to provide regular updates and ensure orders are progressed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer service orders accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Place and track orders through supplier portals and internal CRM systems.
  • Provide regular updates to customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage supplier communications via phone, email and online portals.
  • Ensure all CRM and internal systems are maintained with accurate information.
  • Monitor order progress and escalate issues where required.
  • Assist with reporting, project administration and process improvements.
  • Support project managers and coordinators with delivery updates and project closure activities.
  • Maintain documentation, templates and operational procedures.

About You

  • Previous experience within an Order Management, Service Delivery, Customer Operations or Coordination role.
  • Experience working within telecoms, IT, technology or a service-led environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence dealing with customers and suppliers.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
