. This is not a Bath & North East Somerset Council vacancy. It is temporary, linked to pupil funding, and will continue as long as the pupil attends the school or until funding ceases.

We are seeking a nurturing, motivated and skilled Teaching Assistant to provide support for a pupil in Year 4 who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The pupil has Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and requires consistent, high‑quality support to access the school curriculum and thrive. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to a child's experience and outcomes and be a part of a thriving school community.

Hours

Required
  • Monday: 12:00 pm – 3:15 pm
  • Tuesday: 8:45 am – 3:15 pm (½‑hour lunch break)
  • Wednesday: 8:45 am – 3:15 pm (½‑hour lunch break)
  • Thursday: 8:45 am – 3:15 pm (½‑hour lunch break)
  • Friday: 12:00 pm – 3:15 pm

  • Understands how to provide adaptive, inclusive support that promotes independence
  • Works effectively as part of a team and follows guidance from the class teacher and SENDCo
