Aspire People are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support children and young people across Abercarn and the surrounding area.
This is a great opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants and candidates with relevant experience working with children who are looking to develop their career in education.
The Role- Supporting pupils with learning and development
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
- Helping pupils stay engaged and focused
- Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Working alongside teaching staff to meet individual needs
- Building positive and professional relationships with pupils
- Experience working with children or young people essential
- Teaching Assistant or classroom experience desirable
- Experience supporting ALN/SEN pupils beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, patient and reliable approach
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- EWC registration or willingness to register
- Enhanced DBS for Children on the DBS Update Service
