All About the Role

This is an interesting new role, you will be given the training necessary to carry out your role, including mentoring by a strong, established sales team to develop business within our existing customer base whilst also seeking new opportunities. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm.

Specific tasks could include:

• Answering incoming call, fielding customer enquiries to the appropriate person.
• Help to develop new business with an emphasis on cold calling, ensuring potential clients are aware of what our business has to offer.
• Checking stock availability and raising quotations.
• Following up on sales quotes and maintaining client records.
• Responding to non-sales queries such as order progression update, transport queries, etc.
• Contact customers to obtain missing information and respond to queries.
• Raise sales orders in the system and liaise with operations/transport and sales to ensure smooth order progression through processing and delivery.

Essential Skills for the role:

You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way.

• Eager to learn with a can-do attitude with a desirefor career development in a sales related role
• Sales admin or previous sales experience would be a bonus
• Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent telephone manner
• Good level of IT & confident in Microsoft packages
• A full driving license
