HGV Class 2 Drivers

Customer Description Manpower is currently looking for HGV 1 and 2 drivers to work with one of our clients based in Newbridge ( near Edinburgh) Specific tasks will include:
Overseeing the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises. Ensuring Proofs of Delivery are signed & returned Check the load security & weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards in terms of reporting of any defects to the vehicle. Ensuring vehicles are in a safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use & are operated in a safe manner.

Essential Skills for the role:
To hold a valid HGV Class 1 or HGV Class 2 Licence (with no more than 6 points) Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card Knowledge of working time directive Multi-Drop experience Experience working with Steel Hours of work will be dayshift Monday to Friday.
