Warehouse Parcel Sorter

Connect Appointments is recruiting Parcel Sorters to join an established parcel distribution business based in Newbridge on a temporary ongoing basis.

Our client operates a busy parcel sorting facility, offering a choice of night shift or back shift across a 5-days-out-of-7 working pattern.

What's on offer?

Ongoing temporary position - 35 hours per week
Choice of two shifts:
Night shift: 3am to 11:30am
Back shift: 3pm to finish
£12.71 per hour - paid weekly
Full training provided

As a Parcel Sorter, your duties will include:

Loading and unloading delivery vans accurately and efficiently
Picking and transporting customer orders within the warehouse
Ensuring all loaded and unloaded items match relevant paperwork
Reporting any damaged or missing items to supervisors
Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment

To be considered as a Parcel Sorter, you will need:

Good physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
Previous experience in a warehouse or fast-paced environment is advantageous - full training provided
Strong team working skills and the ability to work effectively under limited supervision
