TPF Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a modern and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Newbury with the recruitment of an Accounts & Outsourcing Semi‑Senior to join their growing team.

The RoleWorking closely with the team’s Managers and Directors, you will support the delivery of high‑quality outsourced accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs, owner‑managed businesses and larger corporate groups. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Bookkeeping, VAT returns, and providing day‑to‑day outsourced finance support
- Preparing year‑end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Assisting with cloud accounting projects, including system migrations and client support
- Supporting with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting analysis
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact for day‑to‑day queries
- Assisting senior team members with a range of client accounting projects
- Previous experience working within a UK firm of Chartered Accountants
- AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT, ACCA or ACA qualification
- Experience preparing management accounts, statutory accounts and VAT returns
- Good working knowledge of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books, and Sage
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- A confident and professional communication style with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Salary circa £28,000 - £34,000 depending on experience and qualification level
