Sheridan Maine are partnering with a vibrant business in West Berkshire who are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
The responsibilities of this Assistant Accountant position will include:
Accounts preparation for various clients
Processing VAT returns and tax documentation
Bookkeeping tasks
Preparing management accounts
Payroll administration
Communicating with clients and answering queries
To be considered for the role you will have:
1-2 years minimum experience in an accountancy practice
Prior experience preparing accounts for multiple clients
Excellent communication and client management skills
Strong initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team
The company will offer AAT or ACCA study support and operate a flexible hours/ hybrid working culture. There is free parking on site as well as being accessible by public transport.
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
