Demand Planner, EEMEA Joint Replacement at Stryker
Key Areas of Responsibility- Understand and align on the key goals and objectives of Joint Replacement in the EEMEA region, including tender submissions and expected outcomes.
- Build collaborative relationships with Business Unit Managers in each geography.
- Assemble, analyze, and adjust data for demand forecasting: historical sales, market trends, direct vs indirect mix, seasonality, promotions, budgets, inventory levels, and statistical forecast model Demantra.
- Improve forecast accuracy by analyzing sources of error and recommending action plans.
- Collaborate with marketing and Commercial Operations to define Joint Replacement launch strategy specific to the EEMEA region and manage product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide data insights (Marketing, Finance, IBP, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, IS, Customer Service, Demand Planning).
- Communicate demand plan to supply chain aligned with the IBP NRP cycle.
- Lead and coordinate periodic meetings, resolve issues, and follow up on actions (monthly requirement review, demand handoff with plants, IBP reconciliation).
- Review KPIs to identify misalignments between sales, marketing, finance, and demand plans; seek consensus via Executive Demand Review.
- Organize and lead monthly EDR meetings for the EEMEA region.
- Partner with Marketing to incorporate market data and competitive intelligence.
- Achieve demand forecast accuracy targets and drive incremental improvements.
- Serve as primary contact for cross‑functional partners and trusted business partner.
- Participate in developing, modifying, and improving end‑to‑end procedures, policies, and processes.
- Support implementation of ERP‑based forecast systems and continuous improvement.
- Degree or certified qualification in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- APICS accreditation or professional supply chain accreditation preferred.
- Understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain interactions and interdependencies.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in other languages an advantage.
- Knowledge of forecasting processes across sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain.
- Knowledge of global Med Tech company operations.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency with ERP tools (Oracle or equivalent) and demand planning statistical modeling tools (Demantra).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a global company (marketing, sales, operations, supply chain, financial planning, or related fields).
- Experience with planning, order management, and ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience with demand planning tools like Oracle Demantra, Demand Solutions or Steel Wedge preferred.
- Understanding of supply chain management and logistics in a complex, global distribution environment.
- Experience in Med Tech is an advantage but not required.
