Working hours:
Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
- You’ll provide commercial leadership during the sales process, helping shape strategies that win business while delivering strong commercial outcomes.
- You’ll assess new opportunities, validate pricing, benchmark market competitiveness, and identify value drivers for customers.
- You’ll support the negotiation of customer contracts and supplier agreements to deliver cost‑effective, compliant solutions.
- You’ll secure governance approvals and help successfully close complex commercial deals.
- You’ll ensure commercial terms, obligations, and risk mitigations are accurately captured within contracts.
- You’ll lead smooth contract handovers, ensuring delivery teams have clear visibility of contractual commitments and responsibilities.
- You’ll identify commercial risks and work with stakeholders to implement effective mitigation strategies.
- You’ll collaborate across multiple business functions to solve complex challenges, optimise contract performance, and create lasting value for customers and the business.
- Significant experience in Commercial or Contract Management, with a proven track record of delivering successful commercial outcomes.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience managing complex discussions, resolving disputes, and driving profitable results.
- Ability to analyse commercial risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
- Experience structuring and presenting compelling commercial proposals that balance customer value with business objectives.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret complex contractual and commercial models.
- Confident influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
- A growth mindset, curiosity to take on new challenges, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- A collaborative approach, with a willingness to share knowledge, coach colleagues, and contribute to team success.
- Telco and/or IT industry experience would be advantageous.
- World Commerce & Contract (formerly IACCM) accreditation would be beneficial.
