Job Duties:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons for students
Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Physical Education curriculum

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree in Physical Education or related field
Experience working as a PE Teacher in a school setting
Knowledge of national curriculum requirements for Physical Education

Skills:

Strong passion for promoting physical activity and healthy living
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and inspire students
Good organisational and time management skills
Up-to-date knowledge of sports and fitness trends

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

Work in a school environment
Regular Monday to Friday schedule
Potential involvement in evening or weekend sports events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
