An excellent primary school in Newbury is searching for an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join them ASAP. The school has a child in KS2 with an EHCP – the child has autism and will require someone with an understanding of these needs. They are looking for an enthusiastic person with a true passion for working with children with SEN, ideally with a background working with autism.

This is a long‑term, full‑time opportunity requiring a fully committed SEN teaching assistant. The successful candidate will have had previous experience in a similar position and will need patience and passion. The school will provide support and guidance but expects dedication.

The role will involve consistency for this child and ongoing support. The successful SEN teaching assistant will work closely with the SENCO, offering a great opportunity to learn from their experience and develop in your career.
