This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced music teacher to play a key role in the management and development of music making at St Gabriel’s.
You will ensure that each pupil is positively encouraged to develop their musical potential to the full and will be expected to establish an ethos of high expectation and enthusiasm throughout the department.
You will encourage performances and compositions of high musical quality, enabling pupils to feel the success of musical achievement, and contribute to the musical life of the school and community.
The Director of Music will keep up to date with curriculum development, teaching and rehearsal techniques and will advise the Principal as to recommended improvements, amendments or trends as and when necessary.
