GCSE Tutor (In-person, School Hours) – Oxford

£25–£30/hr (PAYE weekly pay)

Weekdays, school hours only

In-person tuition – Opportunities in Oxford (OX1–OX4) & nearby areas

Make a difference — Calling out the Tutoring Wizards (Core Subjects).

Fleet Education Services is recruiting tutors to deliver face-to-face tuition during school hours in Oxford and surrounding areas. Sessions take place in schools or in a learner’s home.

• Deliver 1:1 (and occasional small group) GCSE tuition
• Create targeted, engaging sessions to close gaps and build confidence
• Support learners with SEND/SEN/SEMH needs where required
• Collaborate with parents, guardians and schools to ensure learner’s academic success
• Record session notes via our virtual platform

• A bachelor’s degree
• At least 6 months
  UK Teaching/tutoring experience
• Enhanced DBS (Registered with the Update Service) or ready to apply
• Available weekdays during school hours
• Unrestricted Right to work in the UK

• £25–£30/hr PAYE (dependent on qualification)
• Daytime work only (fits around your existing commitments of evenings/weekends)
• Safeguarding + Free CPD training
• A dedicated consultant to match work to your availability and local area

• This is a zero-hours role which means minimum hours are not guaranteed, work offered as tuition opportunities arise
• In-person tuition requires local travel
• Tuitions placements are covered by our insurance
• Candidates will be required to complete our safer recruitment process
