Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to turn theory into practice?
A forward-thinking specialist school in Newbury is offering an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to work directly with children and young people who need emotional and mental health support. This role provides daily exposure to therapeutic approaches, behaviour support strategies, and SEN best practice.
In this Psychology Graduate role, you’ll work with pupils who may present with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma-related behaviours, and social-emotional challenges, supporting their development both academically and emotionally.
Responsibilities- Applied psychology in an educational setting
- Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
- Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Assisting with individual support plans and interventions
- Working alongside therapists, SEN teachers, and pastoral teams
- Location:
Newbury - Pay: £89–£100 per day
- Hours:
8:30am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday - Start date:
ASAP - Long-term opportunity
Psychology graduates (or related degrees) considering careers in clinical psychology, educational psychology, mental health, therapy, or social care.
