As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant , you will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, trauma, and behavioural challenges. ASAP Full-time, long-term role Supporting children and young people aged 3-19 The successful Mental Health Teaching Assistant will deliver one-to-one and small-group support, helping pupils regulate their emotions, improve resilience, and access learning successfully. You will collaborate with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to create a positive, nurturing learning environment where every student can thrive. This Mental Health Teaching Assistant position is particularly well suited to graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Counselling, Education, or Health & Social Care, although applicants with relevant experience supporting children or vulnerable young people are equally encouraged to apply.
