This is an ideal opportunity for a Psychology graduate looking to gain practical experience before pursuing a career in teaching, educational psychology, mental health or other child-focused professions. As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant , you will provide personalised support to pupils with a variety of additional needs, which may include ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties and complex behavioural needs.

The Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant role will involve:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Helping students engage positively with their learning
* Developing positive relationships with pupils and encouraging confidence
* Supporting emotional wellbeing and behaviour management
* Using an understanding of psychology to adapt support to individual needs
* Assisting Teachers with classroom activities and interventions
* Promoting independence, communication and social development
