Senior Engineer

£55,000 to £75,000 + car allowance + bonus + great benefits Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking for that next step — where your work actually shapes new communities across the South?

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to join our growing Technical Team in Reading, leading the engineering design and delivery of high-quality residential developments.

• Managing the design of roads, drainage, and infrastructure for new housing sites.
• Securing technical approvals (Section 38, 104, 278, etc.).
• Liaising with consultants, authorities, and internal teams.
• Providing clear technical guidance during construction.
• Ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and sustainable designs.

• A degree in Civil Engineering (or similar).
• Chartered status (ICE) or working towards it.
• Proven experience in residential infrastructure design.
• Strong knowledge of adoption procedures and technical approvals.
• Skills in AutoCAD, Micro Drainage (or similar).
• A proactive, hands‑on attitude and great communication skills.
