Location:

London OR Newbury + Hybrid

Working hours:

Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

What you’ll do
  • Manage monthly reporting on debt sales, ensuring cash collections are accurately tracked and shared with third‑party partners.
  • Monitor defaults and bad debt, making sure they stay within agreed limits while proactively identifying trends and risks.
  • Investigate variances and partner with external stakeholders to resolve issues, presenting clear and engaging insights to key audiences.
  • Collaborate across finance, treasury, and commercial teams to drive understanding and resolution of debt‑related performance.
  • Support future debt sales by contributing to forecasting, candidate selection, and cost scenario analysis.
  • Take ownership of financial postings, including de‑recognition of receivables and related journal entries within the system.
  • Prepare and reconcile deferred VAT elements, ensuring accuracy and clear documentation for audits.
  • Help shape reporting and presentations that bring complex financial data to life for stakeholders.
Who you are
  • Have a solid foundation in finance processes and bring strong financial acumen.
  • Think analytically and approach your work with care, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Be comfortable working with customer collections or similar financial systems.
  • Be confident using Excel and PowerPoint to analyse data and present insights clearly.
  • Be organised and able to prioritise effectively in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.
  • Communicate with clarity, empathy, and confidence when sharing ideas or presenting findings.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and building inclusive, positive relationships across teams.
  • Be curious and proactive, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Experience with SAP or another ERP system would be an advantage but not essential.
