A specialist SEN school in Newbury is looking for an ASD Support Assistant to work with pupils on the autism spectrum. This is a rewarding full-time role supporting children with Autism, sensory processing needs, communication difficulties, and associated emotional or behavioural challenges.

• Salary: £89–£100 per day
• Hours:
  
  Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm

• Ideal for:
  Psychology, Education, Counselling graduates or those with ASD experience

In this role, you will provide 1:1 and small group support, help students access learning, develop social skills, and manage sensory and emotional needs. You’ll work closely with SEN teachers and therapists to create a calm, structured, and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive.

This ASD Support Assistant role offers excellent experience for those looking to progress into teaching, psychology, speech and language therapy, or occupational therapy.
