AboutThe Role
As a People Advisor, you’ll help ensure the smooth and efficient running of our People Operations team. You’ll be a trusted escalation point for HR queries, a champion of fair and consistent processes, and a key contributor to creating a positive and engaging workplace culture.
You’ll work closely with People Business Partners, the Chief People Officer, and colleagues across the wider People & Performance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑centred environment and enjoys problem‑solving, process optimisation and supporting others to succeed.
You will- Act as the escalation point for operational HR queries
- Ensure consistent and accurate application of HR policies
- Support employee relations queries and offer guidance to colleagues
- Drive process improvements within People Operations and the wider People & Performance team
- Promote employee engagement and contribute to a positive workplace culture
- Maintain accurate HR data and ensure strong data integrity
- Support organisational change and wider HR projects
- Share team updates and contribute to change initiatives
- Help to build the reputation of the People team through exceptional service
- Good HR experience, ideally in a fast‑moving or growing organisation
- Strong working knowledge of HR practices, employment law and HR procedures
- A proactive, self‑directed approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative mindset — someone who enjoys teamwork and supporting others
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and face‑to‑face)
- Proven problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Proficiency with HR systems and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, energetic environment
- A positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to "roll up your sleeves" when needed
- CIPD Level 3 or above (or working towards)
